Greener Home Solutions' Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Package is for realtors who want to convey a "greener image" and attract more clients. The package is designed to help realtors promote lower utility bills, increase the attractiveness of their sellers' homes and speed up the selling process. The package includes energy saving products that sellers can install themselves. Get an edge over the competition! Also note that some lenders offer up to $1000 off closing costs for 'green-ready' homes.

PACKAGE DETAILS

Realtors: you pay for a package of boxes. The more boxes you commit to, the less the overall payment per box. The up front cost is for a portion of each box. You pay the rest when the homes are sold. See the chart below.
You use the GHS box as an incentive to get new seller clients.
When you get a new Seller Client, we ship a box directly to the Seller.
Seller installs the products. All products are easy to implement and allow the Seller to promote the house as "green" and energy-efficient/affordable with lower utility costs.
You add our "ENERGY EFFICIENT!" sign to the home's FOR SALE sign. This helps sell the house!
When the home is sold, you pay the remainder of the cost of the box that helped sell that home. See chart below.


Your Seller will receive a box containing each of the following:
	1- COMPACT FLOURESCENT BULBS Fluorescents use 70% less electricity than incandescent bulbs. Replace your standard indoor general-purpose bulbs with 14 or 19-Watt daylight spiral types that imitate sunlight (compare to 60 or 75 Watt standards). All packages include 30 bulbs.
	2- FOAM SWITCH INSULATOR Light switches and electrical outlets are a perfect way for heated or cooled air to escape. Seal them with these polyethylene foam gaskets that install behind the covers. Packages include 30 sealers.
	3- TOILET WATER USE Cycle Diverters save 1/2 to 1-1/2 gallons of water per flush by diverting the majority of water that would normally travel down the toilet's overflow tube. Water dams install in the tank and works as a dam, by preventing about one gallon of water per flush from leaving the tank without loss of head pressure. Packages based on 2 toilets per home.
	4- SET WATER HEATER SETTINGS Humans cannot tolerate temperatures of 140F (60C) or above without scalding. Warm water in the range of 95-113F (35-46C) may not kill all microorganisms. We'll provide information on how to do properly set your system.
	5- ADJUST SPRINKLER TIMERS/HEADS Water your landscape and NOT the concrete. Adjusting sprinkler heads to target grass or beds reduces the amount of water wasted as it flows down city sewers. Set sprinkler timers for the type of grass in your lawn. The irrigation needs of Bermuda, St. Augustine and Buffalo grasses vary due to different root growth. We'll provide information on how to do properly set your system.
	6- WALL SOCKET MOTIONS SENSOR Made to save electricity with floor lamps or other plug in devices. This sensor simply plugs into a wall socket and when it detects motion, it turns on. After a period of inactivity, the sensor automatically turns off, stopping the electrical current and saving energy. Packages include 3 per house.
	7- SET CENTRAL A/C UNIT Simply programming your thermostat to alter the temperature a few degrees when the home is unoccupied can save as much as 10% on your heating or cooling bills. We'll provide information on how to do properly set your system.
	8- SMART STRIPS While the computer is turned off, each peripheral still draws an idle current that adds up dramatically. Use this smart strip (as seen on Oprah). Ten outlets work together, auto-switching your devices on/off automatically, to save you money on your electric bills. 2225 joules of surge protection keep your equipment safe from even the harshest power spikes. Packages include 3 per house.
	9- WATER HEATER JACKET Water Heater Tank Wraps are designed to hug your water heater tank snugly, improve insulation, prevent heat loss and promote energy conservation. Up to 2 per house.
	10- OCCUPANCY SWITCH Most useful in high traffic rooms. With 20% of our electric costs associated with lighting, just remembering to turn lights off can be very cost-effective. This infrared occupancy sensor automatically turns lights on when a person enters a room, and off 30 seconds to 30 minutes after leaving. Package includes 5 per house.

PLUS - "ENERGY EFFICIENT!" ADD-ON SIGN This sign attaches to your for sale sign, alerting buyers that the home is energy-efficient. Sign features the GHS logo.
